How You Can Diet Like the Stars
Posted by fitnessguru in Prescription Diet Drugs, Weight Loss on April 27th, 2009
It’s not unusual to want to have the same body as a top celebrity. To look at the stars, people assume they need to diet like the stars. Before we look at the stars favourite diet tips, you should note that most magazine pictures of celebrities have been airbrushed and they don’t look as good as that in real life. There are literally dozens of popular diets in Hollywood, in this article we take a brief look at the most popular so that you too can diet like the stars.
One of the first diet like the stars tips I discovered was to ditch the diet drinks. Jennifer Alba and Paris Hilton have apparently both claimed drinking these is the worst thing you can do. Health experts believe that this is a psychological thing and that because you know you are drinking diet drinks you actually eat more and this is why you put weight on.
Jennifer Garner eats small but regular meals rather than eating three large meals. Her personal trainer Valerie Waters advises that you should always keep healthy snacks in hand in case you are feeling hungry and just as importantly you should never miss breakfast as this provides your body’s initial fuel for the day and should help to stop you snacking.
The five factor diet was a diet created for celebrities but is not good for those who tend to eat out in restaurants quite a lot. It also involves regular exercise and has been used in the past by Jessica Simpson, Eva Mendes, Kayne West, Alicia Keyes and John Mayer.
Atkins is of course an incredibly popular low carb diet and according to several sources has been used for several years by Jennifer Aniston amongst others.
The Best Life Diet is a diet made popular by Oprah it focuses on eating healthily combined with exercise.
The Fat Smash diet is one that has been made famous through VH1s Celebrity Fit club and is said to be ideal for detoxing the body and creating a lifestyle. Again this diet also involves exercise.
The Jenny Craig diet is quite an expensive one and has been used by Kirstie Alley and Valerie Bertinelli and involves eating prepacked meal sin the early stage which can prove quite expensive. Once you stop eating these prepackaged meals, this diet can prove quite expensive.
The Martha’s Vineyard diet caused Robin Quivers of the Howard Stern show to lose over 25 pounds and combines extra treatments with a regimented meal plan.
The South Beach Diet is a low carb diet that is considered to be healthier and more reasonable than Atkins and has been said to have been used by President Clinton amongst others.
So to diet like the stars you have quite a choice. You should choose a diet that you enjoy and feel you can stick to rather than a diet that your favourite celebrity endorses.
